Celebrate World Ocean Day with CVA

This World Ocean Day, we’re celebrating the incredible role our oceans and coastal wetlands play in supporting life, biodiversity, climate resilience, and healthy communities. The 2026 theme, “Strong Marine Protected Areas for Our Blue Planet”, reminds us of the importance of protecting and restoring these connected ecosystems for future generations.

Join us at one of our upcoming World Ocean Day events to connect with nature, learn more about local coastal and wetland environments, and take part in hands-on conservation activities with the community.

Community action is vital for the health of our oceans and wetlands. Small actions, from clean-up events to habitat restoration and environmental education, all contribute to healthier waterways, stronger ecosystems, and better outcomes for wildlife and people.
